opening classrooms to other kinds of teachers
I saw this piece, too. I love the idea of different kinds of professionals actually coming into schools and inspiring kids -- over time! To me, this speaks to the need to make the boundary between classroom and world much more porous. This also relates to the question of when humans, or cyborgs, are the best tech to facilitate other humans' learning! Too, I can imagine online extensions, mentorship, etc.
