a related tale.....

Apparently, i have been hearing loads on how the packaging of goods recently, that land on retailer shelves, has become the center of attention for loads of packaging companies.

The competition being in the design. The more attractive a product appears on the shelf, the more are the chances of it being bought. Design occupies 30-50% of the sales factor in the market.

It does appear to be true some times even I knowingly end up buying stuff which i have no need for just because the packaging appeared attractive. Companies in this business therefore have dedicated design departments.

Similar is the story with branding. New Investors coming in to draw profit from a potential market will like their investment to return in a positive manner. Old generations did survive without it, but then there weren't things for which these drinks are being used now.
