Hi. I really enjoyed reading your article.
I am a recovering sufferer of anxiety, social phobias, and I do believe, to an extent, they are learned behaviors. For me, I was fine and suddenly I began panicking, so it was obviously something I'd subconsciously picked up on which was doing this to me. I don't believe it was always there, so it must have been learned in my case.
Once you start to panic over a situation, you really tend to panic all the more when in the same situation, which can lead to serious anxiety attacks as in my case. Very frightening.
