even though we dont

even though we dont necessarily know the long term effects of this vaccine, I am all for vaccinating young girls before the ages when they would become sexually active. even considering the possible side effects, a vaccine against deadly cancer-causing viruses is a huge deal. also, considering all the sorts of chemicals that make it into our bodies every day (not just drugs) that we have yet to see the impact of, i am more concerned about barely-regulated industries than highly-regulated medications.

last time I asked, Bryn Mawr's health center had yet to discuss the possibilities of offering this vaccine to students, however they were planning on sending some representatives to learn about it, i believe. I only hope they offer it before I graduate, this could be of great benefit to our student body.
