Narrative is determined not by a desire to narrate but by a desire to exchange. (Roland Barthes, S/Z)

so cool
What a creative and summative piece! I liked the original too, but this second version is improved. It is more visually colorful, for example. It strikes me how this form, comics, has so many different levels of expression which you have tapped into with success. There is the main narrative which you use to introduce and explain concepts from the panels and the course in general, but there is also the "stream" of commentary, often humorous and/or provocative, on the implications of the narrative and concepts. Finally the notion of community at the end I like to think represents our class, maybe not all of the time, but certainly at its best. Well done.
