BILBAO BALL PLAYERS

The caper occurs at night
Gleeful jesters jostle and canter
Guggenheim galleries corridor the games
Gehry's frame affords the vessel

This collection of players
Prance their own cotillion
They flit and skip
Bounce and trounce
Gambol and tease
Swelling with theatre

No sedate and diaphonous sport for this treasure ship
Burnished repository brazens stacked facade for droll chaos
Such setting calls for vaunting vaults
Village folk exalt the act

Observe a Spanish ballerina roaming in much confusion
Secretly decamped sedate scene
She dares dance this puzzling performance
Little does she discern how ill-advised
She undoubtedly confused Bilbao with Barcelona.
