| Welcome to the home page of the Bridging Cultures Institute at Bryn Mawr College for the year 2002. This Institute (like others in the series) is designed to bring together college faculty and Philadelphia precollege teachers, in this case to explore ways of better integrating science and other areas of the curriculum in terms of both subject matter and intellectual approach. The Institute, which runs from 22 July through 3 August is supported by a grant to Bryn Mawr College from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.
