Serendip's Mailbag

Serendip's evolution wouldn't happen without the feedback and analysis that Serendip's readers share. While we can't respond to all of the email, we do read everything, and some of the comments are used to update student web papers for the benefit of future readers. Take a look at Serendip Readers Write Back to see the pages updated with reader comments.

Additionally, we get email from readers that tells us about how Serendip is useful in various ways. A sampling of these comments can be found below, and there is also a page, Courses Near and Far Using Serendip Materials, which links to courses around the world using Serendip. Enjoy! And thank you.

12/22/2005, from Anne Holmes, Education Director at the Wilma Theater

Walter Bilderback, our Literary Manager here at the Wilma, and I recently met with Anne Dalke (Bryn Mawr College) and Ann Dixon (webmaster of http://serendip.brynmawr.edu/ ) about setting up an on-line forum on Serendip for the discussion of Wilma productions. Serendip, for those of you that haven't discovered it yet, is an absolutely astounding website supporting socially and intellectually progressive education.

10/29/2005, from a Reader on the Web

Hello, discovered you somehow for a few days and I love it! It's so deep and rich in information that even a non-Profi like me can still understand. Haven't stopped reading, thinking and learning from you yet. Just stay around and grow. A.J Buswell

2003, from a Serendip Reader on the Web

Serendip reminds me of when I was a child ... trips to the library and the random opening of a reference book just to be surprised where I land. The things I learned this was were always more exciting than any other way I learned.
